The Tree of Life is found across many cultures and religions, where it can symbolize the cycle of life and death, divine wisdom, fertility, and the link between the earthly and spiritual realms.

In Ukrainian culture, the Tree of Life is traditionally embroidered on the wedding rushnyk (ritual towel) and displayed in the home to ensure health and bring good fortune to the family. Some regional variations use only red threads, symbolizing life, love, passion, and protection.
