“Vesnivka” – Spring Serenade

“Vesnivka” – Spring Serenade grew out of lessons on nature, the thrust of which required students to concentrate on the sounds and sights that make up the spring season. Daily excursions stimulated discussion and students were encouraged to contribute ideas for verses regarding their impressions. During an art lesson they expressed their observations on paper. In a concluding lesson the students designed a very colourful “pysanka” – Easter Egg.

Both of these artistic endeavours were proudly displayed on stage by the students during the singing of “Vesnivka”
