Shakespeare’s Garden Collection

“Shakespeare Backstage” captures a collection of props and wardrobe from the many Shakespearean plays that have been performed on the stage at the Heritage Amphitheater in Hawrelak Park in Edmonton, AB. It was originally commissioned in 2003 by Edmonton`s Free Will Players for the 15th Anniversary of The River City Shakespeare Festival. Each prop is not only symbolic of the play it represents, it also holds the memories of the many actors who have portrayed each of Shakespeare’s heroic roles.
