Baba always had an onion braid, or two or three hanging on the porch post. If the season was a good one the onions often lasted all through the winter and into the spring.

“Onions” is part of Larisa’s ‘Baba’s Garden” collection which was originally exhibited at the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village – Summer 2002.
